10 years ago today on April 2nd, 2016, the NVM welcomed guests to explore the history of gaming with us for the very first time.
Since then, we’ve hosted gaming legends, opened new exhibits, and added countless artifacts to the NVM Archives…including the fabled Nintendo PlayStation!
On behalf of our co-founders John, Sean, Joe, and everyone here at the NVM, thank you for helping make this dream a reality––a place where all of us can celebrate the rich history of video games.

Did you know the NVM is home to the ORIGINAL Mattel #PowerGlove?
This prototype from VPL Research is the ONLY one known to still exist. The technology was licensed and simplified before being sold to Mattel where it eventually became the Power Glove we all know and love.
