A useful bot builder should design the job, not clone a personality.
A Hermes Agent community member built Botmaker to do exactly that:
1. Describe the outcome, tools, and limits.
2. Let Botmaker interview you about edge cases.
3. Review its SOUL file, the bot's operating instructions.
4. Test the scaffold on one real task.
5. Tighten permissions and handoff rules before deployment.
The selection rule: keep the bot only if its work is easy to verify.

One phone can now manage bots across every Hermes installation.
Before, each home server, virtual private server, cloud instance, or local machine felt like a separate control panel. Changing networks meant finding the right address and signing in again.
Now:
1. Save each Hermes installation as a named connection.
2. Add the address and credentials required for that network.
3. Switch connections to view and control the bots available on that machine.
The key change is simple: connection details are stored once, while each installation stays separate.
