The Trump administration is literally killing Americans: -cut cancer research -cut healthcare -cut the CDC -demonizing vaccines -killed innocent citizens via ICE -killing women by sepsis by banning abortion. Now Ebola is at our doorstep! We are fucked.

US electricity prices are skyrocketing. The average price of US residential electricity has risen +11% since January 2025, to 19.6 cents per kilowatt-hour in August 2026, near an all-time high. Average prices during the first 8 months of 2026 were +40% higher than in the same period of 2019. The largest increase in residential electricity prices over this period was in Maine, at +90%, followed by California and New York, at nearly +70%. This comes as the AI boom is intensifying electricity demand, with data centers requiring enormous amounts of electricity to power thousands of chips and cooling systems. A 1-gigawatt data center can consume as much electricity as 800,000 homes. As a result, wholesale electricity prices in areas near significant data center activity surged by as much as +267% between 2020 and 2025. The AI revolution is driving a surge in electricity demand, and households are increasingly feeling the cost.

Pete Hegseth just gutted the system troops use to report wrongdoing. The military’s Inspector General is how a service member safely reports fraud, abuse, a dangerous commander, or a sexual assault, often anonymously, without fear of retaliation. Hegseth’s overhaul strips that anonymity, lets “non-credible” complaints get tossed, and flags anyone who files too often. He calls the old system “weaponized," yet offered no evidence. A junior enlisted troop who sees something wrong just lost their safest way to say so. That doesn't protect the force. It protects the people at the top. military.com/pete-hegseth-an…

my god what a disgraceful person Tommy Tuberville is
Tuberville: "Zelensky will play hardball, but you know what? He's not even a player in the game. Putin, President Trump, and the people on our side will make the final decision about Ukraine's future."

And, they were caught. They face prosecution. But the potential group of eligible voters the administration is trying to disenfranchise has no redress. There’s no do over if you don’t get to vote in an election.
Some facts about these 28 people: - Every one was a lawful permanent resident. - 4 of the 28 are accused only of registering, not voting. Only 22 are accused of voting in 2024. - The median and average age is 50. - 22 noncitizen voters = 0.0001% of California's 2024 electorate.

Trump announced he will defy a judge's order & “immediately” destroy a historic space in D.C. First it was the ballroom, then the Kennedy Center, and now he's set his sights on the East Potomac golf course. This president is turning D.C. into his own tacky playground.

A new poll says 70% of Americans doubt that Trump will accept the election results if Republicans lose in November. Too many Americans fought and died for democracy. Trump’s authoritarianism will not prevail. Go vote. We WILL win this election whether Trump likes it or not.

This is utterly insane.

ProPublica has now caught Susan Collins, Jim Clyburn, and Lindsey Graham in a pay-to-play scandal.
NEW: Lindsey Graham & Jim Clyburn were under FBI investigation, as part of a potentially explosive corruption probe in S Carolina. Then Trump purged the anti-corruption teams at DOJ & the case died. My latest w/@WilliamTurton @mtredden @kirstenberg propublica.org/article/navat…

As you watch Elon Musk burn through 300 million dollars plus in these midterms, like it’s nothing (it is nothing to him!), on candidates who are crooks like Ken Paxton, remember the case for a wealth tax.

A source has alleged that: -Despite Executive Order 14233 -Trump admin has directed the Treasury to sell parts of its $BTC holdings. With administration officials viewing it as a way to work around Congress blocking funding for Trump projects in a lame duck session. The government transferred $1.5B worth of BTC last week with no announcement despite the prior EO marking it as a strategic reserve. They currently hold more than $25B worth of crypto where the only oversight is Bessent. We *MUST* audit the treasury. This could be simply another $1.5B to the Trump family, and we deserve answers!

1/ I think I may know why Trump went on a rant about killing leakers. He thinks the DOJ may deliver to Judge Sullivan the FBI's handwritten notes of the interview of a 13 year-old rape victim describing Trump's rape and brutal battery.
