My friend’s husband DM’d me yesterday morning saying I should call him when I’m free. He’s a cool guy, though we don’t really talk like that, and I don’t even have his number. He dropped it in my DM.
I pretended I didn’t see the message at first, but he sent another one. So I replied, “I’m busy right now. I’ll call you when I’m free.”
Immediately, I screenshotted the chat and sent it to my friend. 🫣
She called me a few minutes later. I’m guessing she had already called her husband to ask why he DM’d me. She then told me it was about her birthday and asked me to call him, which I did immediately.
Guess what he said? “You just ruined the birthday surprise for her. I was planning a trip to Lagos to celebrate her 40th birthday.”
Please, how is this my fault?
Did I do anything wrong by telling my friend that her husband DM’d me? I honestly thought it was better to let her know than start having a private conversation with her husband behind her back.

Members can now accept blood transfusions, BUT the organization's stand on it hasn't changed.
Definitely means they should not accept it and whoever does it stands being segregated and stigmatized by the gathering!

Jehovah’s Witnesses Members Can Now Accept Blood Transfusions!!!
The organisation says members can now personally decide, based on their conscience, whether to accept red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma or platelets from another person during medical treatment.
Members can also decide whether to donate blood for the purpose of producing these components for other people.
However, the ban on whole-blood transfusions has NOT been lifted. The organisation says its position against whole-blood transfusions remains unchanged.
