The ODOS token exists on-chain, independently of the operating company; the company does not custody or market-make the token, and its winddown does not change the token's on-chain mechanics. The Odos DAO is separate from the company and will communicate its own plans in due course. Nothing in this thread should be read as an expectation of future development.

What this means: (1) Today (July 23): existing users can swap and wind down positions normally; new account signups, new wallet creation, and new limit orders are disabled as of today. (2) July 27-30: app is read-only; you can still view your transaction history and balances. (3) After July 30: Odos services are gone; you may wish to use alternative services. There will be no further development, support, or maintenance from the team.

BREAKING: The SEC is set to release its so-called "innovation exemption" for tokenized stocks which will pave the path for trading digital versions of securities, per Bloomberg.
Details include:
1. In a "surprise move," the SEC is leaning toward allowing the trading of tokenized assets
2. These tokenized assets would be tradeable on decentralized crypto platforms
3. The move could "reshape the landscape of the American stock market"
4. This would also be one of the US' biggest shifts into crypto infrastructure yet
