Un-fvcking-believable! I thought I had heard this yesterday, and wasn’t sure if I heard correctly. I couldn’t believe they would go this low. But it is true. Some of them are actually claiming they were the victims, because they didn’t consent. It’s both laughable and infuriating at the same time. 🤣😡
NEW: Three of the Cornell 7 are flipping the script on Jane Doe: they say SHE initiated sex without asking for THEIR consent. As a former sex crimes prosecutor, I’ve seen plenty of victim blaming. But portraying Jane Doe as the perpetrator? That’s a new low.

There were many stages where someone could have done something to at least try to stop what was taking place re #cornell7. Ethically more needs to be done than what’s required by law. Do the right thing, especially when everyone around you is insisting you don’t. If you have doubts about intervening, the best way to “not be involved” is to stop the crime from happening altogether. Otherwise you will be involved as a witness, and you will have to answer why you did not do the right thing when you had the chance.
Watch this video from dadchats on TikTok. So many people saw those group chat messages and did nothing because it’s hard to stand up against social pressure. Many many people would gleefully watch someone suffer and stay silent to keep their social standing. Now — If you stayed silent when Amber Heard was lambasted and destroyed by social media grifters, bots, and misogynistic losers salivating over the opportunity to mock a live-broadcast of a rape testimony— even when you knew, you looked at the evidence and you KNEW, she was telling the truth — you’re probably the kind of person who would see those snapchats and do nothing. Sit with that.

Mejor dicho imposible.
Líderes de la oposición que pedían la intervención extranjera y la deposición de Maduro, ofrecieron a cambio la privatización del petróleo, deben saber ahora que hay que tener cuidado con lo se pide (y a quien se le pide) porque lo que se da puede no gustar.

Important. How to treat someone with dementia
IF I GET DEMENTIA….. I’d like my family to hang this wish list up on the wall where I live. I want them to remember these things. 1a. Every time you enter the room announce yourself. “Hi Dad - it’s Amanda.” NEVER ask- Do you know who I am??? That causes anxiety. • If I get dementia, I want my friends and family to embrace my reality. • If I think my spouse is still alive, or if I think we’re visiting my parents for dinner, let me believe those things. I’ll be much happier for it. • If I get dementia, don’t argue with me about what is true for me versus what is true for you. • If I get dementia, and I am not sure who you are, do not take it personally. My timeline is confusing to me. • If I get dementia, and can no longer use utensils, do not start feeding me. Instead, switch me to a finger-food diet, and see if I can still feed myself. • If I get dementia, and I am sad or anxious, hold my hand and listen. Do not tell me that my feelings are unfounded. • If I get dementia, I don’t want to be treated like a child. Talk to me like the adult that I am. • If I get dementia, I still want to enjoy the things that I’ve always enjoyed. Help me find a way to exercise, read, and visit with friends. • If I get dementia, ask me to tell you a story from my past. • If I get dementia, and I become agitated, take the time to figure out what is bothering me. • If I get dementia, treat me the way that you would want to be treated. • If I get dementia, make sure that there are plenty of snacks for me in the house. Even now if I don’t eat I get angry, and if I have dementia, I may have trouble explaining what I need. • If I get dementia, don’t talk about me as if I’m not in the room. • If I get dementia, don’t feel guilty if you cannot care for me 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It’s not your fault, and you’ve done your best. Find someone who can help you, or choose a great new place for me to live. With a bus and activities!! • If I get dementia, and I live in a dementia care community, please visit me often. • If I get dementia, don’t act frustrated if I mix up names, events, or places. Take a deep breath. It’s not my fault. • If I get dementia, make sure I always have my favorite music playing within earshot. • If I get dementia, and I like to pick up items and carry them around, help me return those items to their original place. • If I get dementia, don’t exclude me from parties and family gatherings. • If I get dementia, know that I still like receiving hugs or handshakes. • If I get dementia, remember that I am still the person you know and love.” ᴄᴏᴘʏ ᴀɴᴅ ᴘᴀsᴛᴇ in Honor of someone you know or knew who has dementia.

<old man yelling at clouds rant> I’m all for free speech and all, but does every account here on X has to give their personal take on why soccer will never be popular here, or what will it take for the US to be a championship contender in World Soccer? I mean, 99% of said accounts repeat the same points, while offering nothing new. </old man yelling at clouds rant>

Exactly! They can win even without Balogun. They didn’t need Trump’s interference.
i think the united states is capable of beating belgium without president trump calling in a favor.

They're seems to be some confusion with some American supporters FIFA did not remove the red card. They are not saying they got the decision incorrect. They just removed the suspension. Now tell me, with as much honesty that you can muster, that that isn't BS!

Exactly 💯
No, it's because Trump did something no other Fifa leader could get away with. All teams face bad calls. Only US could overturn.

I really think the US has the best team it has ever assembled for a World Cup of soccer. Very talented, well conditioned and aggressive. Kind of the team one would want to root for. It’s to bad that the fans make it impossible to do so. #worldcup #fifa

Sondas. Gasas estériles. Vendas. Guantes desechables. Jeringas. Antisépticos. Curitas. Termómetros. Tapabocas. Muletas. Artículos de higiene🧼🧴 Jabón. Champú. Pasta y cepillos dentales. Papel higiénico. Toallas húmedas. Pañales para bebés y adultos. Toallas sanitarias. Ropa interior nueva. Ropa👖👟 Limpia. En buen estado. Clasificada e identificada (hombre, mujer, niño o niña, talla). Zapatos utilizables y en buen estado. ❌No hace falta donar: Ropa rota, sucia o muy deteriorada. Vestidos de gala. Tacones. Adornos y objetos decorativos.

How brave! I’d like to think I would’ve handled it the same way, but honestly, I can’t tell you.
A woman hiking in Canada nearly became a grizzly’s next meal and the video circulating right now is genuinely one of the most intense wildlife encounters you will ever watch - her dog is with her, a massive grizzly is right there, and somehow she kept her head together long enough for both of them to walk away breathing. That is not a small thing. Most people talk tough until nature is standing ten feet in front of them and every instinct in your body is screaming to run, and running is exactly the worst thing you can do. Grizzlies are built to chase, they top out over 700 pounds and can cover ground faster than any human alive. The people who survive these moments are the ones who override pure fear with pure discipline and this woman did exactly that. If you hike, camp, or spend any real time in the wilderness - bear spray is not optional, it is the difference between a story you tell and one somebody else tells about you. Could you have kept your cool? Hats off to her.

Caitlin Clark is making me a WNBA fan, her play is just impossible to ignore. I know, there have probably been a ton of great WNBA players before CC, but right now is when I have started to follow, and right now, this is really fun to watch. And probably historic! #WNBA #indianafever
