PS2 VU's were great! I used EE + VU0 + VU1 in triple-core lockstep for fast vertex transform/cull/draw to the GS.
COP interface was used to pass data from EE->VU0->VU1->GS without need of VIF0 or VIF1.
Example Codewarrior PS2 MIPS code from my PS2 Lockstep VU0+VU1 engine circa 2002.
This loop does dual 8-way SIMD vecload & u16->f32 & VU-transform & VU-project & z bias offset & result vecstore.
16 vert loop in 58 cycles.
Speed of ~80M verts/sec on 300MHz PS2 EE.

So maybe don’t, like, go out of your way to intentionally teach your cat what buttons to press to turn on the fan. Doubly so if you have a cat that looks for ways to get you out of bed at night

If your friend makes a game, don’t ask them for a free code. Just buy the game with your own damn money, if you can afford it

Johnny Somali is facing 10 years in a Korean prison. Normally I’d be so thrilled about this, but I can’t help but think it should have been us to lock him up. What a wasted opportunity, although it was fun watching roving groups of Korean kids hunt him down and beat him up
