Your perception of people will be different from mine 95% of the time
You telling me that guy is an idiot or this guy just drills every chart is based on your experiences with him, not mine
Maybe I relate to the way he trades, maybe I understand why he made a decision you thought was stupid, maybe the information I have makes me see the exact same action completely differently
We rarely see things as they are, we see them through everything we already know and everything we’ve already experienced
Always remember, CONTEXT is everything
The same person can be an idiot in your story and a genius in someone else’s, both of you might even have good reasons for believing it

Trading is already hard on its own
When you add the pressure of making it all back in one trade, it becomes harder
When you trade without a backup cushion, it becomes harder
When you trade while mentally fucked, it becomes harder
When you’re overleveraged, it becomes harder
When you’re trading scared money, it becomes harder
When you’re comparing yourself to everyone winning on the timeline, it becomes harder
Trading is already difficult enough by itself, why keep adding extra weight to something that is already trying to break you
Sometimes becoming a better trader has very little to do with trading at all

I think it’s better for me to switch back to terminal trading for now
Social trading apps are amazing, but for someone like me they create just enough friction when I want to buy instantly and right now that matters more to me than anything else
Of course everyone likes validation, everyone likes the pats on the back when things are going well, but my priority right now is making life better for myself and the people around me, so I really don’t care about the applause I’ll miss by not trading socially
I’ll come back when I have enough money to use social platforms for longer term positions and mid caps

this space has systematically rotted our minds into believing that praising someone for their achievements is a sin
ask yourself how many times you saw someone win on your feed and your first thought was anything but being happy for them
negativity has been rewarded for so long through engagement and platform deals that even acknowledging someone’s skill is now called glazing or dickriding
maybe karma is real, maybe it’s just psychology, but I believe you eventually become what you constantly give to the world
If all you give is bitterness, don’t be surprised when life starts tasting bitter too

A lot of you quit when you hit the ' i don't know anything ' phase because we were never taught how to handle despair and failure
we were always taught the benefits of being a winner but never the hurdles you have to cross before becoming one
you have to go through ' i don't know anything ' to reach ' it's starting to make sense '

So much on my mind that I want to speak or debate with posts that I see on my timeline that are so damn stupid, but then I keep it to myself.
Most of ct has such a big ego that even if you are right about anything, as long as you don't have a portfolio bigger than the guy you are debating, you can almost never win
