Dear @realDonaldTrump,
Thank you for becoming the number one EV salesman in the world.
But please, for the love of God, stop.
Every time you lose a war, and get outsmarted by a foreign government , electric car sales rise.
More people look into them, realise half of what they’ve heard is nonsense, and end up buying one.
This is becoming a problem.
The more people who drive EVs, the more demand there is for cheap overnight electricity, the busier chargers get, and the sooner more people switch, governments will start looking for new ways to tax us OGs.
Those of us already driving EVs would quite like to keep the cheap running costs and quiet charging stations to ourselves.
So please stop starting wars you can’t win, giving interviews, over promising the great American people and go back to manipulating fuel prices down to look like the good guy.
You’re ruining it for us.

BREAKING: Trump calls for a total ban on US diesel exports, saying "Let's not send out the diesel. We make a lot of diesel," that a decision would come "fast," and that an announcement is expected "very soon."
It would be the first US diesel export ban in history.
Europe stands to be hit hardest, as the US is the world's largest diesel exporter and Europe its biggest customer, buying record volumes since the Gulf barrels stopped, making its worst-ever energy crisis worse. Russia, the second largest exporter, has already halted its own exports.
US diesel is at a record $6.53 a gallon today and 16% of French stations are out of fuel.
