Time to reintroduce myself to Twitter... I started coding when I was 12, got into web development, built a few tools for local non profits & whatnot Continued to bounce between subfields in tech until I got to college. Interned at 2 startups in my first semester of college, then worked as the founding eng. for @toddagriscience Got flown out to SF for a work trial for a founding eng. position + contacted by a NY founder for another founding eng. position. Declined both to build my own things (and to have some semblance of work/life balance). Now I work for a local startup. Now tell me about yourself!

I am 20 y/o first-gen low income (Mex 🇲🇽 -American) I've never had a safety net, today I finally #madeit → @stanforcreators Stan Launchpad I still remember watching my parents work long days and come home exhausted, never complaining, just so I could have a shot at a life they never got. Nobody in my family had ever started a company. Nobody could tell me how fundraising worked, what a pitch deck was, or how to cold email someone way out of my league. Every step has been a bet on myself... I grew up figuring it all alone... Getting rejected and applying again anyway. Walking into rooms where nobody looked like me or talked like me, and staying anyway. im beyong grateful to receive this one of kind opportunity... When I got the call, I couldn't even talk. All those years of doubting whether someone like me belonged here, and suddenly I had my answer. To all my family in mexico this one is for you :) This is me dedicating it to all #latinos and #hispanics NEVER GIVE UP BECAUSE I AM HERE SUPPORTING YOU If you're the first in your family to try something big, if you don't have connections or money or a roadmap, keep going. Your background isn't a weakness. It's was always your edge 🇲🇽🔥 #stanlaunchpad

PostHog's taste is 10x better. Much more creative.
Apples taste is unparalleled. No one can touch them.

very nervous. Rudy is going to have its first beta users tonight. this will single-handedly decide if I lock in on this and start marketing it like crazy or if I give up (and possibly cry a little bit) I do have a validated problem, but I don't know how widespread is. Tonight decides everything.

my posts haven't been related to startups at all recently, let's change that. here's something new that i've been working on. it's a pretty basic tool, but it serves a very niche market (essentially just software for managing a science fair). i charge $50 per event & have interest from a few educators already. there is custom pricing for larger events though (500 or more students, most science fair events are between 100 and 300 students) we also offer custom solutions (onsite hosting, larger events as previously mentioned, and the list goes on) hosting this all on cloudflare btw. D1 + my first Worker was a pain to get set up but I think it was worth it, both monetarily and in terms of how much of a pain in my ass it is very excited to see where this goes.
