I hope I'm wrong but I have a bad feeling about that "Galedge" group. They claim to be inventing the "g-pop" genre but honestly that just sounds like EDM-infused J-Pop and it feels too fabricated and nothing different than any other current J-Pop/K-Pop group. Not genuine at all.

Btw... I believe we should celebrate gyaru month instead of day, because most countries use DD-MM-YYYY format instead of MM-DD-YYYY (my case). It should start on September 10 and end on October 9. But that's just my suggestion!

I highly recommend this video. Erin Parsons' channel and SNS have a lot of cool information regarding beauty and we should desconstruct the idea that it is necessarily "futile". Makeup has a long history of strength and resistance.
