Let us remember… Alabama lost to Georgia and moved down… 0 spots in the rankings. Surely Indiana gets the same treatment right?

And Indiana... was, in theory, closer to winning their game than Bama, right? That's how we play this game, correct?

No. They should move up. They both have one loss and IU’s loss is better than OSU’s loss

Except Ohio State lost to overrated Texas. I think everyone is just going to have to accept there is no great team in any conference. It's just a slog.

OSU and IU both suck. If they played a full 9 game SEC schedule they would lose 6 games.

If Alabama loses to Tennessee I assume they will also not move down - based on the following argument : “the rankings reflect the fact that Alabama is such a good team, their only 2 losses are to teams that beat Alabama”

Considering both teams suck they should both move down 7 spots, unreal

Nah you don't get it, you see bama has a loss to TN which. Is a great loss plus a loss to Georgia, (another great loss, because Georgia loss is to Auburn who lost to TN (great loss)) & Texas beat OSU, so OSU is actually terrible, do it against the SEC. So bama has to take IU spot

Not out of the question that Indiana would jump Ohio State with tOSU's quarterback now out.

Depends how the rest of games go down. Main reason Bama didn’t move was due to Texas losing to OU. So IU moved ahead of Bama and they stayed at the same spot.

If the polls weren't just an SEC circlejerk yes, but I bet Indiana gets bumped down for this loss.

Probably drop out of the top 10. AP voters hate IU.

🚨 LEAKED: ESPN’s projected Top 25 after today. After careful consideration, the committee has determined that SEC losses are actually quality wins. Georgia losing to Auburn proves Auburn is elite. Alabama losing to Tennessee proves both are elite. Texas losing to Florida proves the SEC is just too deep. UPDATED TOP 25: Auburn ⬆️ Georgia (quality loss) Tennessee ⬆️ Alabama (quality loss) Florida ⬆️ Texas (quality loss) Ole Miss LSU Kentucky Missouri (lost to #7) Texas A&M Mississippi State (lost to #8) Oklahoma Vanderbilt Arkansas South Carolina Ohio State Indiana (quality Big Ten loss, unfortunately) Miami BYU Texas Tech Notre Dame (quality loss) UCLA Houston Utah (assuming blowout win) Utah remains on the bubble. Unfortunately, Colorado isn’t in the SEC, so a blowout win doesn’t count as a quality win. It just means more. 🏈 #SEC #CFB

I think it depends on what happens with Alabama, BYU-ND, etc..

Indiana and Ohio state are pretty mediocre compared to the titans of Alabama and Georgia. Ohio state couldn’t even beat the 12th best SEC team

Indiana gone be unranked tomorrow

They better. There can be no SEC Team in the top 5. Period. Mediocre conference full of parity.

did we watch those football games? IU and OSU had horrid QB play OSU already has a loss and we’re already over bama, OSUs loss just grabbed another one. IUs best win just squeaked past a bad MSU team.

This is gonna be the logic "Indiana lost by 4 at home to the number 4 team so drop them to 25" "Alabama got their shit kicked in on the road and Georgia lost so move Bama to number 2 behind Miami"

In college football (the sport with the clearest and most tracked data on “top athletes”), elite high school talent concentrates heavily in the Power 4 conferences, with the SEC traditionally dominating the very top of the recruiting rankings
