We begrudgingly use an Alexa in our kitchen, mostly for adding to our shopping list. But when actually at the store, their app is *so bad* I always wish I could just use Apple Reminders instead. But Alexa has no API for this. I finally figured out how to do that with Opus 5.5! Now I can add via Alexa and it shows up in Reminders. a few years ago stripe filed a patent application for work we did on the dev experience team for Workbench…. it was granted yesterday and it feels extremely cool to be able to say i have a patent now 😎

it's surprising to me how hard it is to just...take money for a digital download that gets emailed to customers so I've been building a lil native stripe app for fun that does exactly that one job: let you sell files online really easily with stripe checkout!

yeah…switched to codex for this reason. claude just can’t stop blabbering walls of useless text, it’s so hard to read. codex is like a dog with a bone, just does the thing, no pleasantries

idk about ya’ll but ai lets me get so much more done (literally building entire prototyping tools ppl use) but the sense of feeling like im not doing enough is worse than ever 🥲

seeing a chart of my pull requests in the stripe codebase over time is a very telling visualization of how much my role as a design manager has changed with AI in the mix 😅
