He was not willing to come to Toronto, yall got used for a benchmark total salary to take back to Florida to work out.
We extended the years to make the number work and he signed immediately. Per the goat Elliotte himself
This is fan fiction.
Genuinely feel bad for Marchand. Elite career, passionate player, was willing to come to Toronto a few years ago. However, I do not feel bad at all for the Florida panthers, who deserve this and more.

You can say the first part without adding the second btw like it’s genuinely serious you don’t have to make it about Florida all the time 😭

Literally sending every good thought, prayer, and positive vibe to Marchy that I possibly can 😭 To work so hard to come back early and then for that to happen? Come on 💔😩

No update on Marchand.
Maurice says he'll get looked at on Thursday.
Luostarinen, who finished the game, is fine.

if marchy is truly and badly hurt, i will be so surprised bc my copium is so intense now that i'm SURE that his injury was one of those bad looking, but very innocent injuries and he'll be out for like a month and come back as swift and deadly as when he first joined the panthers

I'm going to walk into the ocean about Marchy I am so so upset. I cannot handle it if that's it for him. What a horrible way that would be to go out. He's my favorite guy and I need him to go out on his own terms

The Panthers:
-Went 1/20+ on the Power Play
-Only led for 8 minutes and 40 seconds
-Lost 2 of their best players
-Played in 4 home openers including a banner raising
And still managed to take 6/8 points to start the season.
This team is really good. Get me home NOW.

I don’t disagree but he makes me nervous. He seems as though he’s lumbering around sometimes, not as quick as Bob going side to side. Probably because he’s so big, especially in comparison. But dang, he covers a lot of the net!

Markstrom w/ a 2-0-1 record and .927 SV% to start the year.
Jones: “He's been unbelievable. Great goaltender and a great person off the ice. He’s blended with us chemistry-wise away from the rink perfectly and in the locker room.”

“You just got to oversimplify it, and that’s alright. Panthers hockey: win low-scoring games and it translates to playoffs.”
