UN spox on Israel seizing a child in Gaza: On Wednesday, a UN team went to retrieve a child who had crossed the so-called yellow line. The child was found in distress in an area under direct Israeli control. After bringing the child back in an area under the control of the de facto authorities in Gaza, the team was stopped by armed individuals who took the child away from us at gunpoint. UN teams soon relocated the child, who was later reunited with his relatives & is now receiving the urgent care he needs. Civilians must always be protected, especially children.
