Greatly tempted to sing “And so what we have learned applies to our lives today, God has a lot to say in His book” at the transition to the conclusion this morning.
. @Delta “we need to take your carry on bag.”
Me: “why?”
“There’s no more room in the overhead bins.”
Upon arriving at my seat, plenty of space in the bins.
“We’re very very very sorry.”
Poor customer service form @Delta multiple times over four flights these last two days. Carry-on bag policy makes nonsense.
Massively inconvenient and disruptive. Lots of apologies but no one cares
So @Delta staff have taken my bag 3 times in the past two days. Every time there has been space in the bins.
I’ve almost missed connections and been delayed because they’re just taking bags without verifying the bins are full.
Very frustrated.
A first.
A Father’s Day without father or father in law. They are both with Jesus. They were both good men. Fathers. Grandfathers.
And the grief is real because all I want is more time.
Four young men driving very fast through my neighborhood in a car just shouted at me.
“Six Seven!”
Kids, don’t blame boomers and Xers for wearing out your memespeak.
