It’s been 8 years that my brothers and I have been taking care of my Dad. When there was a push to put him in assisted living, I insisted that we “see how it goes” and then I made sure he stayed in his house. Although its alot of work and sacrifice-It was the most rewarding period of my life- by far. He had a great run-and just made it to his 91st birthday 2 weeks ago. I wrote this 6 years ago when he had sepsis and we first thought he was on his way out. He was a warrior tho. Cheers Dad..RIP
Every young American should spend some time listening to Archbishop Fulton Sheen.
His warnings about faith, freedom, and the dangers of an all-powerful state have aged remarkably well.
One of the best performances I've ever seen. The singing from both of them, the harmonies, the guitar... as close to perfect as it gets.

Talent like this just doesn’t exist anymore. Standing there singing, no pyro or tricks, just pure voice.
I can't totally grasp the beauty hidden behind Steve Perry's voice.
''People in the 80's are the luckiest people, they lived through good music with Queen, Journey, Bon Jovi, etc. No cellphones, no auto-tune, just people enjoying the pure talent and skills of musicians.''
Journey performing 'Open Arms' live on their Escape Tour, in 1981.
James Hetfield performs "Baby Hold On" in tribute to his friend, Eddie Money.
A rare, emotional side of the Metallica frontman. Pure heart behind the heaviness.
Sylvester Stallone was so broke he sold his wife’s jewelry and even his dog, yet he turned down $125,000 for Rocky (1976) because they would not let him star. A studio finally paid $35,000 and gave him the lead. That gamble made him a legend.
