The sad part is there’s so many Indian-Americans I know and am aware of who have tried to be the “model minority” and have voted and participated in the uplifting of people who are with the Trump administration or align with the viewpoints and are straight up white supremacists and idk if it’s from a place of fear or fitting in probably both but hopefully the message is received that these people don’t give a shit about you and will throw you away not because of anything you’ve done, but because you don’t look like them.
