Another mixed UI claims report. New #unemployment claims clicked upwards to 219,000 last week, highest level in 2 months. Big news is a drop in continued claims to 1.79 million, the first time it has been below 1.8 million in nearly two years (May 2024). dol.gov/ui/data.pdf

Trump's budget reimagines Americans' relationship w/ our govt & proposes a country that does less to help people get by
ALT NDD less VA medical, 1986-present. roughly flat-ish until 2020 around 3%, and then down down down down to 2% last year. And then Trump is proposing taking it down to 1.7%.
