In 2012, Eddie Opara was already exploring a future where graphic design, technology and physical interaction became one. At the @designindaba Conference back in 2012, the @pentagram partner presented a 13-foot multi-touch table developed for the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). It was portable, ADA compliant and designed around communal interaction — people could discover, manipulate and literally “pass” digital information to one another. Touch interfaces are everywhere today.
