DeFi still feels too fragmented.
Your assets are on one chain, the opportunity is on another, and moving liquidity around becomes a task of its own.
This is where
@peridotprotocol caught my attention.
Peridot is building what it calls a DeFi broker, giving users one account to access lending and liquidity across multiple chains.
You can supply assets, earn interest, use them as collateral, and borrow without selling your position.
But there’s more.
Peridot is also building an AI layer for DeFi through Perry, its MCP server and agent toolkit.
The goal is simple:
Let users interact with DeFi in a way that feels more natural, while giving AI agents access to things like markets, APYs and portfolio data.
They’re also testing margin trading on Stellar.
So
@peridotprotocol is working across lending, cross-chain liquidity, trading and AI.
The part I’m watching is how they bring all of this together into one experience.
DeFi doesn’t need more complexity.
It needs better ways to use what already exists.
