pretty much yeah, basic sentence structures are easy to understand and learn but the conjugations and complex grammatical patterns that has different meanings depending on those conjugations makes it very difficult. i still consider myself low intermediate because of it
korean has a crazyyyy low barrier to entry that's why people think the whole language is easy but unfortunately when u hit the lower intermediate level everything somehow gets exponentially more difficult 🤕 it's what i've been struggling with these days sooo much

let’s not get into how nuanced and context ridden the language is, there’s omission of info because you’re expected to know what’s being referenced if it’s been mentioned once or twice before. which is why a lot of translations end up doing (things like) this
