Ladies and Gentlemen, Yes, I have emphysema from my many years of smoking. I have to say that I enjoyed smoking very much, and I do love tobacco - the smell of it, lighting cigarettes on fire, smoking them - but there is a price to pay for this enjoyment, and the price for me is emphysema. I have now quit smoking for over two years. Recently I had many tests and the good news is that I am in excellent shape except for emphysema. I am filled with happiness, and I will never retire. I want you all to know that I really appreciate your concern. Love, David

Frequency-framed questions presented better screening properties for DSM-XC when compared using the current "how much or how often" rule. DSM-XC could focus on symptom frequency and improve externalizing-related domains in the future. @APApsychiatric @UFSM_oficial @ufrgsnoticias

Study findings reveal DSM-XC's domains exhibit transdiagnostic screening properties, increasing the likelihood of internalizing disorders in the community. However, meaningful screening for externalizing disorders remains limited.

Both Sides Now, Joni Mitchell and Brandi Carlile. What she has overcome to sing this poetry once again with such wisdom and lightness. I sobbed through this performance. #GRAMMYs 2024 x.com/RealBrittain/status/17…

This is a common but erroneous understanding of the nature of the debate here. The critics of the umbrella review aren’t arguing that depression is caused by a deficit of serotonin & SSRIs fix that deficit; they are saying that the scientific literature on the role of serotonin in depression is misreported and misinterpreted, and any inferences regarding the efficacy and mechanisms of antidepressants from the umbrella review are unfounded. There is a distinct motte-and-bailey argument happening here, with “chemical imbalance” & “depression caused by serotonin deficit” as the motte, and assertions about serotonergic mechanisms, neurobiology, and antidepressants as the bailey.
Moncrieff et al defend their case that depression is not caused by deficit of serotonin and that SSRIs can fix what is evidently not broken. Calm and clear as a bell. Thank you!
