The @DerbyshireCCC batsmen and @WorcsCCC fielders, plus umpires, begin to leave the field at Worcester this afternoon with the home side prevailing by 175 runs.
I've managed to be at every day of every first team game home and away once again, for the 17th consecutive season and it's been a joy to bring you images, stats, videos and comments.
Following Derbyshire is not always an easy watch but my enthusiasm remains undimmed and I trust that comes across in my posts.
To every single person who engages with me, I thank you. I still believe that cricket offers a fellowship which is truly wonderful and that is reflected by the kind comments and support I receive for my work on here.
Enjoy the close season and I'll be seeing you in a day or two!!!
