To the untrained eye it might not seem like a big deal…but our team essentially swapped out an airplane engine mid flight.
No hard fork. No changes to the MOVE token. Just a surgical operation and a buttery 🧈 smooth transition.
In the first half of the year, the Movement chain was unusable. Slow, clunky, and a nightmare for our builders. We made the decision that we must pivot away from the “Frankenstein Chain” thesis.
Step 1 was the Monza 🏎️ Upgrade in June, and Step 2 is now finally complete with the M1 Upgrade.
M1 is crucial in enabling us to achieve our strategic initiatives in 2026 and beyond.
