I did not know the cheese touch existed in India
In June 2017, 13-year-old Karanbir Cheema lost his life after a classmate at his London school threw a piece of cheese at him.
Karanbir had multiple allergies, including dairy, wheat, gluten, egg, milk, and tree nuts.
Although he did not ingest the cheese, it made contact with his skin, causing a severe allergic reaction. He was quickly taken to Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.
Tragically, Karanbir died a few days later, and his parents made the difficult decision to turn off his life-support machine.
His cause of death was determined to be post-cardiac arrest syndrome.
