Tier 1 III and Pro will return to solo-only when matchmaking reopens. Based on our analysis, we expect some of the longest waits to drop significantly.
We know some of you will miss playing with a friend. Tier 1 I and II can still duo. We’ll keep monitoring the impact.

Small change to Pro rank 👇
It's now top 10 per region instead of top 50 in Tier 3 III. It's still early, with fewer players and games, so we want Pro to really mean something.
We'll keep monitoring it and tweak things if we see fit.

More than 2000 matches have been played on @playmobilegg Matchmaking since Sunday in the 16hrs the queue has been open. Thanks to everyone who's playing and grinding.💚 Love this game and this community, we will keep improving, taking in feedback and helping in any way we can.

We're changing it so players in Tier 1 can play with a friend. We'll monitor how it impacts lobbies at the higher end and decide whether to keep it once players have settled into their ranks.

We've been going through the matchmaking data since launch, and we're making some changes in an attempt to get games matched closer at every skill level.
We've also adjusted how much impact placement games have, so some of you might see your rating or tier move a little.

Re: questions about uneven matches and long queues.
Matchmaking is new, so it's still figuring out where everyone belongs. That can mean longer queues or seemingly uneven lobbies for now while ranks settle. It (hopefully) gets better as more matches are played.
