When people say the Law still applies to us today, I like to ask in what sense?
Living under its shadowy, earthly form or living in its present heavenly reality that Jesus brought through His fulfillment of the Law?
Jeremiah 31:33 clearly states that God's law applies in the new covenant.
Ezekiel 22:26 clearly states that God's law includes the Sabbath and the food laws.
Therefore, the Sabbath and the food laws apply to us in the new covenant.
It's truly that simple...
