Believing that the age of human exploration is over is a skill issue. We can still: ‣ find ancient temples in the rainforest ‣ make the Salton Sea lush again ‣ re-fill the Great Salt Lake ‣ conquer the darkness ‣ map the sea floor ‣ explore the stars ‣ tame Antarctica

there are ships with billions of dollars of treasure just sitting there, all alone, at the bottom of the sea floor

Some people argue we'll never establish colonies on the moon, mars, and beyond, and those people should be forever barred from being trusted...especially when they get a look of excitement as they say those things.

It's true that society would be screwed if literally everyone was an explorer... But probably much more screwed if nobody was.

Intelligence agencies have mapped out where overgrowth has hidden away the forgotten temples using ground penetrating radar and other Earth observation tech. 1. Photos From Old Spy Satellites Are Helping To Find Ancient Ruins Today medium.com/teatime-history/h… The data compiled about Moon, Mars, Europa, Ganymede, Enceladus is quite literally "astronomical". Just imagine what is hidden and not publicly disclosed to citizens of Earth. We wouldn't want the entire human race to know their true origins and capabilities faster than the "governments" of this planet could regulate or put a price tag on now would we? Sea floor mapping issues is funny and true. We have far more data about other cosmological bodies than of our own planet due to limitations all because of water ironically. 1. As of April 2026, 28.7% of the global seafloor had been mapped. oceanexplorer.noaa.gov/ocean… There are plenty of fun theories surrounding the topic of Antarctica already being tamed and that common folks are not allowed to visit for various reasons. 1. You don't need to "conquer the darkness" . It's a wonderful thing to have

"conquer the darkness" ... My two cents here but I seem to notice around 6am darkness miraculously is no more, keeps happening every day.. sometimes also after 9pm I switch on these things called light bulbs..

The deserts too. Antartica, the jungles and the deserts, but in a way that isn’t environmentally destructive.

If define volume of the observable universe already explored by humans as a percentage of the total volume, its effectively 0% and will remain effectively 0% for a very long time. Even if we spread across entire Milky Way & beyond. So we have not even started exploring yet! 👨‍🚀
