Every share our miners submit adds up into "difficulty-adjusted work" — a measure of how much real hashing AtlasPool has done toward finding a block.
At today's network difficulty (127.45T), one block is expected per 127.45T of work.
AtlasPool has now accumulated 156.2T — that's 1.23× the work needed for an average block. 🧡
Solo mining is memoryless: every share is a fresh lottery ticket, and our next one could be the winner. Onward to block #1. 🚀

The new Zyber 12 looks damn cool.
When I found my way back into mining I reached out to a bunch of companies with every question I had. Things had come a long way since the garage full of roaring Antminers. Winston at @TinyChipHub answered me. Then answered me again. And again. And again. He put up with the questions, opinions, random ideas, and general bullshit when plenty of others would’ve stopped responding.
Somewhere along the way the conversations stopped being just about mining. We talk industry, community, culture, life, and plenty of complete nonsense. I’m happy to call him a genuine friend now.
I’ll always call devices and companies exactly how I see them. Friendship isn’t going to change that. But loyalty means something to me, and there’s a part of me that really enjoys seeing the people who went the extra mile succeed.
The Zyber 12 looks like a hell of a device. Excited to see where Winston and the team take things next.

I’ve spent a ton of time over the last few months looking at mining pool data, so I was curious how the recent events surrounding OCEAN lined up with their hashrate.
I pulled OCEAN’s reported hashrate directly from their API and overlaid the major events on the timeline.
No particular conclusion I was looking for. I just like looking at data points when possible. It’s my idea of a fun Tuesday.

No one enjoys dad jokes and satire more than I do, but I’ve hit the point where I genuinely can’t tell reality from satire on Bitcoin X anymore. I keep hoping half of what I’m reading is satire. I’m pretty sure it’s not. 😂

I feel like home mining has entered its techno phase. You know… a lot of us went through it in high school and try to pretend it never happened. All these new miners with their reflective fans and crazy RGB colors. Every time I see one, I half expect it to start playing Sandstorm and the Techno Viking to bust out of my closet.
