Still Short QUBT? The Catalysts Keep Adding Up
QUBT’s Quantum Computing Inc. (QCi) has signed a three-year Framework Agreement with Qatar’s Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), covering Quantum Computing, Quantum Sensing, and Quantum Communications.
As part of the agreement, QCi will physically deploy Dirac-3 in Qatar and provide cloud access to its qudit-based Dirac-3 system.
Why does this matter?
HBKU, through its Qatar Center for Quantum Computing (QC2), sits at the center of Qatar’s growing government–academia–industry quantum ecosystem.
Deploying Dirac-3 there does two things:
It provides another real-world validation that Dirac-3 is moving beyond the lab as a deployable commercial quantum system.
It gives QCi a strategic foothold for potential expansion into Qatar’s government and industrial ecosystem.
