Fun is getting home at 130 am after driving for over 14 hours to find out you are locked out of the house. What do we do? Put 25yo kid on a ladder to get in through a window at least 8 feet up, only to find out the one ground level window was actually unlocked. It was the ONE

Spent 16 hours driving today (4 hours of it in traffic jams) to pick my youngest up from college to see a concert tomorrow. Half trip was silence (not even radio), half trip was kid rambling about fics and Pittsburghese, lol. Tired and sore now.

Most people know if I read a fic either here or on ao3 I make sure the writer knows I appreciated their time/fic. I am a don't like/don't read person. Yesterday I got upset at a fic without even reading it. They took a m|m couple and made one female. They tagged it as such. Why?

Was it a trans character? No. It was a m|m that they decided to make a straight couple. It mad me so mad. If you want a straight couple they write a straight couple but do not use mlm popularity to snag views. It is homophobic and wrong.

I am so tired of writers starting fics on here, getting readers hooked, then moving the rest of the story to paid sites. If you want paid for a fic that's fine but be upfront in the beginning. I am finding myself blocking more and more writers because of this.

Explain why I randomly wake up in thr middle of the night and my mind completely plots out a wx fic before allowing me to fall back asleep. Now to jot down notes beforr I forget any of it.

At Ozokucon and they had 26 VAs here. To see so many in one spot and it not be a huge con was amazing. Only one huge line today but yesterday longest line was maybe 30 min. Was great. Support small cons.

Just entered Michigan. Ozokucon here we come. 12 hour drive (had to make a side quest to grab youngest child from college where we JUST droppws them off less than a week ago)

I think I have been reading too much omegaverse. Just saw an add on the highway WE DO "KNOT" GIVE UP. It was plain black words on an orange background. Small letters below for a tree trimmer company. I was laughing so hard. Not where my mind went.

Went to see the Odyssey finally. Way of story telling was good. Special effects horrible. Costuming looked like Spirit Halloween. Script bad. Would be an interesting story if you knew nothing about the Odyssey. Contradicted itself so many times.

Its 3am.I have my mom at the ER an hour from home because local ER is useless. So far all labs are good but she is unable to stand and has an altered state. Wondering how I am driving home later. Visitor chairs are folding chairs so no way to sleep

I have seen so much discourse on restrooms who should use which one. I went to a card event a game store, a new one to my family. There were over 80 people with maybe 8 female presenting including one trans woman, so 90% male.

I walked in to find it had two stalls, one which was occupied. I went in the other one. Who was in the other stall? I don't know. It affected me in no way. I was in a stall as were they. They left before I came out. People go to the bathroom, do what they need, and leave.

I never felt concern for myself or my daughter using either restroom. People need to stop creating drama where none exists.

So we played at a Mtg prerelease Friday. My first opponent cheated. Explained a card wrong. New set. He won because of it. I should've questioned more but new set. When I found out truth he shrugged. He was my only loss. He placed 2nd. I placed 25th of 100.

Prizes were everyone gets a random coin draw, no difference in where you placed. He got 1 basic pack, nothing good. I got a collector's pack with one card being worth over $100. Karma.
