Massive sympathy with David. I’m a Manc, and a red, but many of my closest friends were blue and during the 60s, 70s and beyond they supported a great, solid football club. Sorry to say money has debased that club, and their punishment will be hard for newer fans to swallow.

Those calling for abolition are on thin ice. Many estates affected going forward will have tax exempt main properties and tax-free pension pots so some tax on those justifiable
