The core of this nebula is crazy This object is also deceptively easy to take a photo of. I’ve caught it with just my cell phone, no telescope (although this was taken with my biggest scope)

Can you spot the moth on our dishwater jar? In high school my friends made fun of me (with me?) for noticing details like light thru water and the patterns it made… Today these were pretty cool to me even without the moth but the moth is also so beautiful!

First frost ❄️ Bittersweet. Just some phone shots as the sun was coming up, before I came in to add a few layers of clothing! So so grateful for this garden and this spot on earth. And so excited to see what next summer brings!

Ok I think this is it- last official living flower post of 2026! 25 degrees tonight! The last one kinda blew over our hill and the cold settled down in the fields… so we’ll see what happens! Dug our 4 potato plants and picked a bouquet. I’m more ready this time 😌

What happens with the bees when it freezes out? I think I assumed they hide underground or fly south, but we have tons looking like they’re just holding on tight! 25F tonight… stay warm little guy!
