some quick first impressions on buzz: - we like visible agent workflows that are observable instead of operating as opaque background processes - Apache-licensed and self-hostable, gives communities more control over infrastructure and data - built around Nostr for distributed messaging, very cool - designed with native local-agent integrations, allowing AI agents to participate directly in the workspace - bundled with Git hosting, bringing conversation, code, and collaboration closer together but the product is still immature, with some linux bugs - members must install a desktop client - onboarding is difficult and creates a meaningful adoption barrier - video functionality is not yet there, so it can't currently replace Discord’s full comms stack looking to experiment over the next few weeks to see how it develops and how we can build together more effectively
