Good afternoon.
The weak way to look at Slippy is another NFT on a new chain. The stronger way is IP.
A character that can work as a meme, a profile picture, a game skin, a short story, a plush, and a digital identity has more room than a collection that only works on a marketplace page. Twelve personalities give that room. Each one is already an internet archetype. Copium, Auntie, Degen, Rager, Wagie. People do not need a glossary to use those.
You can argue about chains all day. The thing that travels is a face people remember. Pudgy showed that character IP can live past a mint cycle. Slippy is making a similar kind of bet with a snake instead of a penguin, and with moods instead of one default cute face.
That does not make any outcome guaranteed. It just means the canvas is bigger than a whitelist thread. I keep coming back to the same line. Sell the character, not the documentation. If people want the snake, merch, memes, and stories have somewhere to sit.
A brand with range can live on a timeline, in a game, and on a shelf. A brand with only a mint date has one afternoon.
The NFT can be the first object. The snake has to be the brand.
Not financial advice. Just how the brand reads.
