the new design for me feels like it has a better established identity than the past one, I never felt like I actually connected with busters design until now

Its fine on its own but compared to OG Buster it just doesn't look right. It just feels like a completely different character that doesn't have the main reasons why I like OG Buster in the first place

I think it has something to do with the artstyle, while the design is mostly the same except the hair on the back of his head, the way he's drawn may give most people a sense of unfamiliarity, especially when they've grown on boom busters original artstyle for a long, long time

The first art of his new design was really jarring but in sprite form it looks waaaay better

My main problem is just the eyes being super huge I love the hair and crooked teeth

I really liked the design but I think it fitted better in a sequel than in the current games

I think most people (me included) will get more used to the hair over time.
