TL;DR: I have had a bit of a hard time recently, and had an emotional breakdown. I am humbly asking for some extra time to complete the work I still have - provided refunds aren't desired - then after those are completed, I will officially be taking a break (I'm serious this time!) for the new year. I am not very eloquent, but wanted to say something regarding how things are going for me right now, I hope my words come across the right way. ;;♡ As always, its important to me to be completely honest. I apologize deeply for delays on current commissions. Recently I’ve been really stressed and thought I was feeling burnt out.. and then the massive hurricane in my area happened, and DURING the hurricane I found out I am expecting a baby..! Which I am insanely thrilled about! However, last year I experienced a very rough miscarriage that really affected me mentally and physically. The pain in my heart from it is still a little fresh. Finding out I am expecting now, honestly sent me into a spiral. While I am blessed and grateful, I am terrified at the thought of losing them again.. With everything going on, I really just had an absolute breakdown and cried for days and days. I am also moving one last time (military family woo!) at the end of November- and with everything going on... I am seriously a little overwhelmed. However, I don’t want to come across as I don't want to do the work given. I very much want to give my all into my commissions, it just may take me a bit longer. I 100% understand the need for extension may be disappointing, so I am willing to offer refunds for existing clients! However, if you are willing to wait, then I'll be completing the work. I will have all projects done by the end of the year in this case (now to Dec 31). Before, I was completing 1-3 a day, but with how ill I'm feeling from morning sickness among other stressors, I can realistically only finish one in a few days to a week. I appreciate all interest in my work and completely understand whatever decision you make! Please reach out to me if you have any specific questions. Thank you again! ♡♡♡

I feel my heart weighing a bit heavier these days, and I fell behind on my work. Truthfully, I have been so busy and cried a lot. Well, I didnt want to be melodramatic, but to express that I am disappointed in myself for it. I don't want to give up! I still believe in myself. I wanted to publicly apologize, and that I'm really grateful to those that allowed me some grace and extra time on their request. I have been drawing almost non-stop since June, so I think after this month I'll take a break till New Year. ♡

I’ve been in the same position so so many times. Life is far too short to force yourself to only work. Take care of yourself and cherish the time you have, your work is important but not worth your wellbeing. It can be so hard to take a break, but sometimes you have to make the decision to put yourself first. I hope you’re okay 🖤 make sure you take care of yourself.
