This! Progress is building towards these higher structures, whereas the Woke movement is about destroying structure.

Leftists saying that voting in “right-wing” (centrist) governments might lead to violence in the streets. The violence is already in the streets, worse than ever. If you’re so Woke, wake up.

I am not sure what to make of the fact that I can talk about objectively evil things, like mandated speech, with a certain type of person, and that person will not be able to see this evil thing as anything other than virtuous and righteous. We need to agree that certain things are BAD. We need to universally agree on these things, as we have for many generations now. - Censorship - Mandated speech - 2+2=5 - Redefinition of language for political ends - Political violence - Suspension of civil rights - Ideological enforcement These are BAD things. They are NOT good things. There should be no argument on this and yet... Not only are these Leftists unwilling to acknowledge that these things are bad, but they are actively voting for and empowering the people who do them. And do them nakedly and without remorse.

Got problems talking sense to your radicalized friend or loved one? Try The Ideological Sandwich®! It's like a compliment sandwich, only where you acknowledge one thing they want to have acknowledged, then your point, then an acknowledgement that you understand it will be difficult for them to compromise, but that you have faith that they will. Like: “Immigration is an integral part of our past and our future. This land has been generous and welcoming to the people who have found their way here, and the society we have built has been one of diversity.” Then: “However, I think that we have a perfectly good, perfectly liberal, legal immigration pathway. I believe that letting in multiple millions of fast-tracked, loosely-vetted, or unvetted migrants in a very short span of time stresses our systems beyond what they were designed for, and has resulted in a lot of unpleasant consequences, on all sides. I agree that we need immigrants, but to get back to that functional system, we need to first undo the damage of the mass migration by enforcing immigration laws and removing illegal immigrants.” And finally: “I understand that you are against mass deportations, and that it is a difficult and often tragic situation. I am glad, however, that we both support immigration and the benefits it brings. I am also glad that we both value the safety of our communities.” The Ideological Sandwich®: Solving the World’s Problems, One Fluff Job at a Time

So... the same people who have such endless empathy for Palestine, and for the plight of people who are - to them - just a concept, and not people they had any proximity or attachment to, are largely the same people who don't think a human fetus counts as a human.

Oh, the irony of those demanding "Truth and Reconciliation", but who are interested in neither.

For those of you TDS-sufferers out there who hate Donald Trump: What, specifically, has he DONE (not said but done) that makes you think he is one of the worst humans to ever have lived? Do you have any actual reasons? Or is the hate good enough without needing to know why?

No. You can try reducing it to insulting and abusive language, but I am not referring to refusal to agree to terms on a trade agreement. Canada, both under Trudeau and under Carney, has been vocally anti-Trump. Unapologetically, aggressively anti-Trump. It doesn't matter whether you personally feel that is deserved, the fact is that their job is to deal with difficult personalities and situations. This is on the back of decades of anti-American sentiment and humor. I mean, it's one thing if the Chinese want to joke about Americans being fat, stupid, and lazy; it's quite another when it's your own little brother who is the loudest, most insistent voice saying so. We make a big deal about sewing Canadian flags on our travel packs. We loudly tell everyone how we aren't Americans. Americans, on the whole, usually have nothing but nice things to say about Canadians, South Park movie aside. Ask a Canadian abroad what they think of the US, at any point in let's say the last 40 years, and you're not likely to hear a heap of praise and familial pride. So when I say "picking a fight", I mean in those very insulting character attacks, not in the "not being able to reach a trade agreement" sense. Now, you can respond with a well-reasoned, calm, adult response in an attempt to show that your ideas are indeed better than mine, or you can respond with more abusive language. My money's on the latter.

Dude, the ugly truth of it is that people are angry. They are angry about the same thing we're all angry about - the sense of futility in trying to fight “the system”, where the system requires you to sacrifice to make someone else's dream come true. It isn't fair and we don't want to pretend that it is. Grunge was all about the disconnect from, and rejection of, all that flashing lights, glam rock, safety lyric-ed music that told us all we'd find true happiness if you were only Jimmy's girl, or wore Chanel No5, or drank Pepsi. Life wasn't “Leave to Beaver" or “Full House” - we were lied to. The same mind behind Propaganda Theory was the father of modern public relations, whose chief arm is advertising. The promise to the generation coming out of "The War to End All Wars”of a Golden Age ended nothing but government transparency. But the hate, dehumanizing and abusive words, and actions of today are like the worst of early 20th century Europe, only with a population 6-7 times the size… each able to instantly send a massage to anyone, anywhere, trying to compete against countless others just to get noticed. A cacophony of really ugly hate. And self-feeding; an algorithm that drives the things that make us unhappiest direct to screen at the push of a button. And we're there like rats hitting the feeder bar for a pellet. "Maybe, just maybe, if we get angry enough, we'll evolve, like some DragonBall Z character," (I never watched but my understanding is they scream and rage, gaining power the more they scream and rage) these people might be thinking. Only they aren't thinking. They are outsourcing that part.

The same people who want to abolish private gun ownership are the people pushing to decriminalize drugs and enable drug use. In 2024 in the US: Drug overdoses 79,384 All firearm deaths 44,447 Firearm homicides only 15,364 5 to 6 times more deaths due to drugs compared to murders by gun. It's not really about protecting people from harm; it's about control and dependence.

But wait... wasn't describing the new leader in hyperbolically positive terms an evil, egomaniacal, Nazi pedophile thing to do? Like last week? You don't need to agree with every Conservative position, but I think we can agree that things like mass scale lies, hypocrisy, censorship, mandated speech, 2+2=5 et al are BAD THINGS. No?! I'm not talking a lie like telling people it's the highest ever year for such and such an export, when it's really the 3rd best, or telling the world how great you are kinf of lies. No. I'm talking big lies. About important things. Backed by brutal ideological enforcement.
Mark Carney has been PM for about 18 months and is already The Greatest Prime Minister of All Time.😂

Recursive improvement, we have to assume, is already happening en route to true AGI, which will become ASI within a very short amount of time. Let's assume it doesn't kill us. Let's instead assume that it reveals every secret every recorded, simultaneously, in a catastrophic disclosure. Maybe that's what we need to evolve. Would we choose to move forward in openness and cooperation? Or kill one another to be able to continue to lie?

The Deep State blocking the release of UAP knowledge to congress, the White House, and the people is made of people who: - require power for power's sake - tell themselves that they are making the hard decisions for the benefit of all They are Jack Nicholson's character in "A Few Good Men" wherein they assert that we can't handle the truth. Maybe be we can't, but that is for nobody to decide on our behalf.

Here is Canada's immediate future under Carney: Canada becomes some sort of associate EU member with one major point being the ability to freely travel to work in other member states Skilled Canadian workers leave for European jobs that pay better, have better benefits, and largely function in English (very similar to, and a continuation of, the Brain Drain to the US over the past several generations) The recently mass-migrated people that flooded into Europe by the millions? They got fast tracked to EU citizenship. And even if they don't have citizenship but some sort of permanent residence certificate, really anything that allows them to work in Canada, they will pour in to fill the vacuum. Brain drain out, recently migrated replacements in. Europe has looonnng seen the New World as a dumping ground for labourers and undesirables. Australia is one giant example as are events like the Highland Clearings. They now have a huge migrant problem. Canada will be the dumping ground as qualified Canadians move to Europe, creating a vacuum filled by those who are less desirable candidates than the skilled Canadians. Fast forward a short amount of time and you can see how saddling Canada with IMF debt and mortgaging off our resource rights to pay for it doesn't sound so far fetched.

Too funny. Trump renames Lake Ontario to Lake America, and many Ontarians lose their minds, saying you cannot simply rename things. Ottawa renames Trump Avenue, and the same people applaud. What a clown show.
