Students didn’t break OSAP. The Ford government failed to properly oversee it, and students shouldn’t pay the price.
They were warned in 2023. Nearly $1 billion later, we deserve to know what happened, why it took so long to act, and how 7 private career institutions received so much despite the major red flags. #onpoli

The Ford government is scrambling.
They’ve been warned about problems with OSAP since 2023. They broke it and now students are paying the price for their incompetence and mismanagement.
Students deserve answers, not more chaos. #onpoli
🚨#BREAKING: Ontario Liberals call for @nolanmquinn's resignation.
As Minister of Colleges and Universities, he must answer for the Ford government's mismanagement of hundreds of millions of dollars in OSAP funding to private career colleges – and its botched response.

Chow takes Bradford to task for voting against homeless shelters then campaigning the opposite
In his 3-year campaign for mayor, he’s intervened over and over to try to block shelters across Toronto. He'll say anything to get elected.
If we want people to have safe, stable housing and shelter, we have to build it – not flip flop.

I'm going to dig into our mailbag for this week's episode - great Pick 6 questions we haven't gotten to. If you'd like to ask a question here, you could be entered into the draw to win a signed Adam Guillemette jersey! #Argos

In addition to the man beside David Piccini getting $7.5M in SDF money, Piccini's wife (also pictured) is a lobbyist that represents Career Colleges Ontario - and several of the private trade schools that are members of Career Colleges Ontario received SDF money as well.

Oh - and Monte McNaughton's wife (tied to $2M in Skills Development Funds for Dentacloud) is now the Executive Director at Career Colleges Ontario...
so, in summary: David Piccini's wife is the lobbyist for Monte McNaughton's wife in order to get funding from David Piccini!!!

How Doug Ford's government works:
1) Monte McNaughton starts Skills Development Fund
2) Wife gets millions from SDF
3) Monte quits and Piccini takes over SDF
4) Wife moves to Career Colleges Ontario
5) Piccini's wife becomes lobbyist for CCO
6) CCO members get millions from SDF

You know that Chow has been mayor for just 3 years, right?
Earlier this year I met with @BradMBradford I have lived in Toronto for 25 years. For the past 5, the city has been in a steep decline. Crime. Open drug use. Gridlock. Garbage. Safety concerns on the TTC. It didn’t used to be like this. Toronto can return to being a thriving city but it begins with leadership. We need a serious Mayor. Get out and vote.

Do Guardian Caps actually prevent concussions? @ChrisNowinski1 tells @PabloTorre why the story "appears to be a bit of a scam":
"[The NFL's] own published study showed it wasn't true."

If the NFL cared about player safety Thursday night football wouldn't exist. Playing on turf wouldn't exist.
They just do not care.
