So what's the difference between these and evey other recording system. The expectation of privacy is no longer. That ship sailed years ago. Every freedom we lose is under the gise of " for our safty". It seems that Democrats want to control out entire lives. Isn't that what the DSA wants to do. Give government the power to control every aspect of your life. Wasnt that the entire point of " climate change ".

Folks don't get all excited. This is a ruling on a specific case in OK against a law enforcement agent who violated the 4th amendment. It has nothing to do with Flock cameras themselves or the company and has no affect on anyone other than that 1 defendant in the case.

If a case goes to the Supreme Court and the verdict is in favor of the 4th Amendment would the cameras be removed?

If it violates the 4th amendments it would be considered an illegal wire tap, which once found can be destroyed.

You're mad that the government is using it constantly, some of the time, of all people, or some people? What about Flock Cameras independently owned?

People you do understand why the flock cameras now. They are going to steal the 2026 election. Those flocking cameras can hunt down every republican. If you try to stand up. Your cities are now surveillance cities. They can find you anywhere.

Flock installers don’t like being watched! They think that there’s privacy in public! How ironic! facebook.com/share/v/18JAjaz…

But only when they were put up in non black neighborhoods... Just for the record. They sure didn't chime in when so called black communities were putting them up. I don't have a problem with them being up anywhere, but yet another example of an unequal balance.... Baltimore’s 2000s Camera Deployment and Its Context In the early 2000s, Baltimore City began installing CCTV cameras across the city to monitor crime and improve public safety 📷ArcGIS StoryMaps. The program started as a pilot and expanded rapidly, eventually surpassing 700 cameras by 2023 📷ArcGIS StoryMaps. These were part of the city’s broader CitiWatch surveillance system, which now manages over 800 cameras in high‑crime and high‑traffic areas 📷Open Baltimore.

Sadly, the federal judge did say it goes against the fourth amendment rights, but only for a particular area in the country. This is not a nation wide ruling. There are still a lot of federal judges out there that say it does not go against the fourth amendment, but we know !

People choosing to freak out over flock cameras when we possess the most advanced flock camera in our hands every day in the form of a smartphone. THERE IS NO MORE PRIVACY!!!! The days of that have been long gone—and the crux of the matter is, if you’re not doing anything wrong…. why would you be so concerned about surveillance???!!! Flock cameras have done way more good than they have bad. We already live in a 24/7 surveillance country—Google maps even covers the rural areas. You should want crime to be surveilled and prevented—there will ALWAYS be bad people using good technology to do bad things, but as long as the good outweighs the bad…. we’ll be just fine!!!!🤨😑

Why can't anyone see we are being played? I dedicated a decent amount of time counter-posting on many accounts, all met with bot responses... this is a huge L.. Flock cameras were cracking down on the street takeovers because they all use stolen cars in the street shows.. Flock is responsible for 1.5 million arrests, dropping theft-related crime by 16% nation-wide and recovering 11% increase in stolen vehicle recovery. The entire anti-Flock movement was anything but 'grass roots'.. frustrating
