Patterns often continue because familiar choices keep producing familiar results. Growth starts when you recognize your part in the pattern and make a different decision, even when the old one feels easier.

The lesson doesn't expire just because you're tired of learning it, it keeps showing up in a new outfit until you actually get it.

guess it's time to stop treating my alarm like a suggestion and start actually waking up to the lesson.

Karma. You burn karma from awareness and by deliberate responding to the situation rather than reacting.

In this context, I like to see life like a school. You keep repeating the same class until you pass the assessment required to move to the next level. The cycle continues like a jinx until you sit down, become humble, learn, CHANGE FOR REAL,🙄 and plot your decisions different than before.

exactly. sometimes the lesson isn’t in what keeps happening to us, but in how we keep responding to it. change the pattern, change the outcome. growth begins when you choose differently.

Sometimes the hardest lesson is realizing the pattern won’t change until you do.

Helen Keller became deaf and blind shortly after birth. Despite her greatest misfortune, she has written her name indelibly in the pages of the history of the great. Her entire life has served as evidence that no one ever is defeated until defeat has been accepted as a reality.

This is why self awareness matters so much. Sometimes we blame bad luck for the same thing happening again and again, when we’re actually making the same decision in different situations. Same type of business mistake, same type of relationship, same financial habit, same kind of people, same reaction when things don’t go our way. The situation changes, but our response stays the same. Then we wonder why the result looks familiar. Growth sometimes is noticing the thing you’ve been doing repeatedly and finally deciding, "I’m not doing this again." Different decision. Different result.
