Bitget did not lose the keys. They lost the system that tells the keys what to sign. $351.6M left hot and warm wallets at 18:31 UTC on Sep 24. 19 transfers. ETH, XRP, USDT, USDC, AVAX, BNB, across Ethereum, XRPL, Avalanche, BSC, and Arbitrum. Early chain watchers counted about $183M because they missed networks. Bitget's number is $351.6M. Biggest CEX hit this year. Gracy Chen says a backend wallet system was compromised, transaction data was spoofed, and Bitget's own authorization process signed the exit. Private keys ruled out. Cold wallets untouched. Outflow stopped. Bitget Wallet, the self custody app, is a different stack and was not hit. Right now: deposits and trading are open. Withdrawals are not. She will not give a time she cannot keep. Earlier she said hours or days, not weeks. Some hacker wallets are frozen. Law enforcement and the chain teams are in. North Korea is her read from IP and method. That is not a confirmed attribution. "User funds are safe" means the protection fund, not that the coins came back. Fund is over $464M, including 5,500 BTC. This loss eats most of it. BTC moves, so the dollar cover moves until they settle. I do not care about the North Korea headline yet. I care that an exchange can hold the keys and still get drained if the signer trusts a lying backend. If you cannot withdraw, you do not have the money. You have a promise. #Bitget

Vangrid is building something interesting 👀 Real-world data is becoming more important for AI. And this is where @vangrid_io comes in. Vangrid is focused on Physical AI, robotics and autonomous systems. Their goal is to collect real-time, human-collected ground truth from the physical world. Because AI needs more than just text and digital data. It needs to understand the real world. 🌍 From spatial environments to real-world movement, better data can help build better AI systems.

Most crypto apps still make you pick one job. Chat, or wallet, or trade, or pay. @DeBox_Social is trying to be the room where those sit together. Start with identity. You log in with a wallet. No phone number. No email. They say the private key stays on your device. Chat and calls are end to end encrypted. If the account is not the wallet, the rest is just Telegram with a token sticker. The wallet is self custody and multi chain. Send tokens and NFTs in the thread. On chain red packets. Transfers that do not make you paste a long address into notes and pray. Escrow swaps with people you are already talking to. Market data and a buy button without bouncing to a third tab. Groups are the product. Clubs, token gates, bots, announcements, airdrops, raffles, live rooms. Their Chinese channel now says 23M+ users. The site still lists 120+ countries and 300k+ groups. I treat those as their numbers. The useful part is the gate. Holders in, strangers out. Do not look for the old DAO groups, group assets, or proposals. Those were pulled in May. P2P is being phased out through the end of this month. vBOX withdrawals are frozen, with a 1:1 $BOX send on BNB Chain still pending. The app is getting narrower on old peer trading and wider on payments. That payment layer is what they actually shipped this month. FlashPay is scan to pay. Up to 100% cashback on eligible spend. Their latest campaign says 14 countries and regions, still expanding. A 10 day, 100,000 $BOX spend pool runs through today, 25 Sep. After that, the product is the pay rail, not the prize graphic. Circle Alliance is on. Arc went live in the app around 18 Sep, with USDC as gas, so you are not holding a volatile token just to move dollars. $USDx launched 22 Sep. Their claim is 20% fixed rewards. Mint is dual asset, USDT plus $BOX , not USDT alone. Redeem or swap from the treasury anytime. Next uses they listed: scan to pay, a margin vault, buying goods. Discover page in the app. I do not treat 20% as a promise. If mint, redeem, and spend all work in the chat, that is a rail. If redeem sticks, it is a banner. Shares is the creator side. A project can plug into a group. Eligible volume can rebate the owner, up to about 80% on their current site. Gold can be transferred now, status plus remaining time plus followers, and Gold can mass message fans. Drop a DApp in the group so members open it in one tap. ChatWidget, API, and SDK if you want it on your own site. Android, iOS, and desktop. That is the service as of today. A self custody messenger where the group can talk, gate, pay, and settle without four other apps. The old P2P and DAO screens are leaving. The payment and stablecoin screens are what they are building. #DeBox

@DeBox_Social FlashPay airdrop is still running. Ends Sep 25. 100,000 BOX pool. 10,000 BOX a day. Spend at least 10 USDT in the last 7 days, then claim after 8am UTC+8. Up to 100% cashback. Live in 14 countries, still expanding. Open the app, FlashPay, spend. That's the whole thing. #DeBox

Washington is shopping a plan to turn dollar stables into a foreign-policy weapon. Not a white paper. A Treasury, State, and DFC joint-venture idea, per Bloomberg. CT is screaming GO TIME and 100k while this one barely moved the timeline. The White House is looking at public-private JVs to push USD stables overseas. Goal is not "help crypto." Goal is keep the dollar as the reserve asset and manufacture extra bid for Treasuries. Bessent has been saying this out loud for a year. GENIUS already forces compliant issuers to sit in cash and short-end government paper. Brooke told the Treasury Market Conference this week that stables already own almost 200 billion of bills and near-maturity paper. That is already top-20 sovereign-debt holder territory. If State and DFC start seeding these rails in other countries, every new token minted offshore is another forced buyer of T-bills. That is policy-driven stablecoin supply, not just perp-margin float. USDT and USDC already run something like 90 percent of a 300 billion market. This would be Washington trying to grow that float on purpose because China has mBridge and Europe is lining up a digital euro. The part CT is missing: this is not automatically bullish BTC. It is bullish dollar rails. It also puts a political overlay on the two coins we all settle with. IMF and BIS have been yelling about EM capital flight if dollar stables go retail overseas. So you get a bigger TAM and a bigger target on the same product. I keep coming back to the timing. Yields are stretching to levels we have not seen since 2007 and BTC just lost 87k. If they need a structural buyer for the short end, they are looking at us. Are we the bid for Treasuries now?

Market update time. BTC spent weeks failing 80k. Sep 15 news candle swept 75k. Then Sep 18 did the real work. One displacement day, 76.4 to 81.4. Closed 80.8. That is a range break, not a wick. Sitting ~81.3 now, high 81.7. SMC map: 81.4-81.7 is supply. Old Sep 4 high lives there too. 80 is the flip. Hold it as support and the expansion is real. 77.6-78.5 is the bullish OB / FVG. That is where I want a dip, not 81.7 FOMO. 75k is the sweeep low. Lose that and this whole move is a fakeout. ETH did +7 on the same candle. SOL did +11. ETHBTC turning up off 0.0317. When BTC finally clears a multi-week wall and alts print bigger bodies, that is rotation, not a BTC-only squeeze. This is the window to trade alts. Not because CT said so. Because BTC did the heavy lift and left the relative strength on SOL/ETH. If 80 holds on a 4H close, I am hunting alts on pullbacks, not chasing BTC into 81.7 supply. If 80 fails, sit. The news candle already paid. Watch the 80k. That is the line.

CEXes are walking. Hardware brands are leaking customer lists. If your coins are still sitting on an exchange login, this is the week that should scare you. CoinEx is winding down after 9 years. Spot dies Sep 29. Withdrawals close Dec 22. BitMEX is killing the perp that built this market. Bybit already ate a $1.5B Lazarus hit on a "cold" signing flow. That is not a 2022 story. That is the current stack. Then the wallets you already trust started bleeding data, not keys. Trezor this month: 347k phishing emails out of their own newsletter vendor. Subject line looked like a real STM32 alert. Click it, they ask for your seed. Ledger, Trezor, SafePal all had shipping or payment vendors popped in 2026. Coldcard had a firmware bug that drained over $100m. This week HP caught a fake AI trading agent swapping MetaMask and Phantom for a password stealer. The lesson is boring. Keys on a CEX are not yours. Keys on a hot extension are one download away. Keys on a hardware device only help if the device never talks to the internet and never asks you to type a seed into a website. Digital Shield (ds.pro) is built for that. EAL6+ THD89 secure element. Keys generated and signed inside the chip, never leave. No Bluetooth. No USB. Air-gapped QR (ERC-4527). You scan, you confirm on the device, done. Open-source core so you can verify, not trust a blog. BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, stables, 15k+ tokens. App builds the tx. Hardware signs it. I am not telling you this chip is magic. I am telling you the other side of the market is closing doors and sending fake security emails. Pull funds off exchanges before Dec 22. Put them somewhere that cannot get phished by a newsletter vendor. You can buy this from here at best price: h5.ds.pro/promotion.html?cha…

turns out @vangrid_io is not only asking people to map the physical world now they want us to yap about it too 😂 their new contribution campaign treats content as another kind of capture layer some people capture streets, buildings and spaces with their phones others capture ideas, context and useful signal around the network different input, same goal make the grid richer $100k for the top contributors is a nice bonus too guess my phone can map the world while my X account maps the lore

A spatial query on @vangrid_io is not a search box. It is a region scoped key hitting a GeoJSON polygon. You send an AOI and a time window. Routing only considers nodes whose coverage intersects that polygon during that window, that were actually capturing, that are not flagged for quality, and that sit inside your sovereignty boundary. Smaller polygons come back faster with denser nodes per area. Docs tell you to split a huge box into targeted queries instead of one giant shape. The API key is bound to named regions. A country, a state, or a custom polygon. If your AOI crosses a region the key cannot touch, you do not get a quietly trimmed map. You get 403 with region_not_authorized and a list of the unauthorized regions. Rejection is the control, not silent filtering. Responses carry originating region and epoch so you can audit what entered your stack. Enterprise rails can keep processing and aggregation inside one jurisdiction with no replica of query metadata outside it. Coverage still follows phones. The query just refuses to pretend a node outside your boundary was never there.
