Convenient choice of liberal news org. RCP has Trump approval at 47.1%. The more accurate polls, such as Insider Advantage, show Trump at 55% job approval. He won reelection with 49.8% of the vote. The bottom line is that Americans still want all illegal aliens deported.

RCP shows his approval rating on immigration declining. All polls have shown large majorities oppose deporting young people brought here as children. If they keep this up, it will cost the Rs the midterms.

Trump's. 47.1 % approval rating will win midterms for Republicans. Voters associate deportation with Trump, who won't be on the ballot, unless he runs for a 3rd term.

Bill, some good advice from an old Dem consultant. "It's the economy, stupid"-James Carville. If the economy is doing well, deportations, including DACA, won't be an issue. People care most about their own situation. Trump's mid east deals are locking in a mid-term victory.
