anthropic and openai have such different approaches in their missions to deliver ai to people openai delivers products with a top-down approach. anthropic builds tools by focusing on a specific job and adapts its harness to automate tasks

I got hooked on the HTML specs thing it's funny to discover the power of this forgotten relic mainly it’s doing a good job for visualisation, but it takes a lot of time to get there, esp if you want to render a bunch of graphs (used mermaid here) it makes taking technical decisions faster + keeps traces god forgive me ˗ˏˋ ✞ ˎˊ˗ I gave in to temptation and added a JS script locally to store some local state and export all the answers to feed that back into claude

spend two days drafting specs, let claude one shot them in half an hour. the bottleneck is QA and knowing what you want.
