As the U.S. competes with China to lead the world on AI, we need protections for people’s jobs, safety, & opportunities.
That only works if it's on a global scale. This summit is the time to be tough on China & establish universal guardrails to protect Americans’ security & pocketbooks.

Diesel has been well over $6 this week in mid-Michigan.
That's just one of the costs of this war with Iran that we entered with no clear objectives or exit strategy. Working families can’t afford it.

Today, we remember and honor the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives and the bravery, selflessness, and courage of the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice to save their fellow Americans.
I hope today we remember the lessons it taught us about courage, sacrifice, resilience, and the strength we find when we stand together. May we honor those we lost by choosing unity over division, compassion over hatred, and the common good over what separates us.

It's been 25 years since the tragedy of September 11, 2001. We keep the victims and their families close in our hearts and prayers.
We also honor the first responders who ran toward disaster when everyone else was running out. Their life-saving bravery and sacrifice were nothing short of heroic. #NeverForget
