I toured a beef farm last week along with other members of the PA House Agriculture Committee. Many farmers are struggling because of inflation and big government regulations. We need to get government off the backs of farmers.

I had the pleasure of presenting Hazel Yelk with a House citation for her 100th birthday. As the citation said, Hazel "has demonstrated the highest ideals of citizenship throughout the years and truly deserves special recognition." Have a very happy birthday Hazel!

School choice is an opportunity that every student should have. It was a pleasure to join Senator Scott Martin, the Bridge Educational Foundation, and other school choice advocates to announce scholarships for Lancaster County students to attend the school of their choice.

Today I introduced House Bill 2293 which expands the raw milk products that can be sold with a raw milk permit. This legislation would be a big win for Pennsylvanians who want natural foods with less processing and fewer chemicals.

Republicans succeeded in protecting the 2nd Amendment and defeated two Democrat gun control bills yesterday in the Pennsylvania State House. A big win for gun owners! Both bills were defeated by one vote out of 201 votes cast.
