General TAO Ventures (@gtaoventures) has partnered with Chainlink as the launch collaborator for Project Rubicon, bringing Bittensor's subnet alpha tokens to @base via CCIP. prnewswire.com/news-releases… Project Rubicon enables the non-custodial liquid staking of Bittensor's subnet alpha tokens, transforming them into ERC-20 compatible liquid staked assets (xAlpha). By integrating Chainlink CCIP as the canonical bridging solution, Bittensor's subnet alpha tokens can be securely bridged to Base and become utilized in DeFi protocols such as @aeroxyz. With this integration, CCIP is now live on Bittensor EVM for any builders to enter into the Bittensor ecosystem and begin building robust cross-chain applications.

Rubicon is a protocol that lets subnet alpha tokens move directly onto the Base L2 blockchain. The initial launch cohort includes 17 subnets, each seeded with roughly $300,000 in liquidity across their alpha token/USDC pairs. This infrastructure unlocks several important benefits: 1. Reward generation for subnet owners and liquid stakers via LP fees 2. Immediate liquidity for subnet owners without selling their underlying subnet assets 3.
