Guys, you should all be aware that Pennsylvania is in the midst of some pretty incredible BS. And it has directly threatened Leonard's right to vote.

Please be wary of who you think is trustworthy. The Green party endorses a federal abortion ban and transphobia, and a lot of the anti-Israel accounts are just antisemitic. They depend on you not looking too closely to get away with it.
Texas’ three branches of government are in the midst of a separation of power struggle, and now the state’s two (TWO) high courts are at odds over the Roberson case just weeks before a crucial judicial election
My latest to cap a crazy week in Texas:

Leftist deadenders: Covid if not over, we are in a pandemic
Also leftists deadenders: I am voting for Jill stein an antivaxxer and her Green Party, who is also running a candidate who believes in chemtrails against Rashida tlaib.
But I am morally pure lolol
A dark day for free speech. The Tennessee Supreme Court has intentionally and willfully struck down the core of the state's anti-SLAPP law. Abusive litigation is once more encouraged in the state.
For reference, this is not a controversial element of anti-SLAPP laws at all. The similar Texas law has successfully forced a plaintiff back into court after nonsuiting just to lose properly. And they were liable for the appeals fees as well.

The Second Circuit has *dramatically* rolled back the scope of Fair Use. This is what experts were warning about. Every little exception that got carved out over the years become dangerous when combined together, and this case takes it to the absolute extreme.
Internet Archive Responds to Appellate Opinion in Hachette v. Internet Archive

The U.S. Secret Service is apologizing to a Massachusetts salon owner after an agent covered her security camera with duct tape and broke into her salon by picking the lock so that its bathroom could be used by various people for a two-hour period.
After the two-hour period, Secret Service agents left her salon unlocked and left the tape covering the camera.
The woman was told by others that the lead Secret Service agent was directing people to use her salon’s bathroom without authorization.
The agents were in the neighborhood to secure the area ahead of a Kamala Harris fundraiser. The woman understood she needed to close her salon but didn’t expect the rest of what happened.

Yes, it very much is misogynistic to demand that the woman prove she is a woman because some Russian government agency arbitrarily declared she "failed a test" that they won't even name over a year ago.
