i ended up beating metroid dread again but this time on hard mode and under 4 hours. i wanted to get those ending pictures and those are awesome. was fun playing this game again in a more "speedrun" mentality and being able to just blitz through the game

finished Metroid Dream just now: this game rocked! It was awesome and every single second of it was a blast. I’d love to play this game more and try Hard Mode and beating the game faster because I enjoyed it a lot. (Attached to this are my clear stats)
Clear Screen on Metroid Dread. I cleared it on Normal Mode, with a time of 06:43:27 (hours:minutes:seconds).

Honestly, I’m kinda mad I didn’t get into Metroid series sooner. This kind of gameplay is stuff I absolutely rock with and I know a younger me would have loved it to death. I’m happy to have played all of these games and I’m very excited for what they do with Metroid Ravenous.

I might try the Metroid Prime games next when I get a chance. Though, that probably won’t be for a while since I got other things I need to focus on + other games I wanna play first. TL;DR: Metroid Dread Is A Very Good Game, Would Recommend

Idk if I’ve ever said this on main, but I got into Metroid last year (played all 2D games in order (ZM -> SR -> Super -> ended at Fusion). I wanted to try Dread since Ravenous was announced recently. (Continued in next reply)
